Notes on Data Protection

The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO).
The protection of your personal data during the collection, processing and use during your visit to my website is very important to us and your personal data will of course be treated confidentially.
Collection and processing of data
My website is located on a server of the German Internet service provider Strato (Strato AG, Pascalstrasse 10, 10587 Berlin), which operates data centers in Berlin and Karlsruhe. Every access to my website and every retrieval of a file stored on the web pages are logged. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The IP addresses of visitors to my websites are stored by Strato for up to seven days to detect and prevent attacks. Logged in the so-called server log files are:
• Name of the retrieved file
• Date and time of page recall
• Transmitted amount of data
• Message about successful call
• Name of the (sub) pages (URL) you are calling here
• Web browser type / Web browser version
• your operating system
• Referrer URL: The page from which you accessed my website
• Name of your Internet provider (host name of the client is anonymized)
• IP address of the requesting computer (will be anonymized)

A merge of this data with other data sources will not be done. The data are also not assigned to any person and are deleted after a statistical evaluation.

Use and disclosure of personal data
The use of these websites is usually possible without personal data. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily make this information, for example in the context of a request - such as by e-mail. Your personal data (for example, name, address, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) will be processed and protected by me in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).
If you have provided me with personal data voluntarily, for example by e-mail, I use this only for answering your inquiries, for processing contracts or orders with you and for technical administration.

Safety note:
I point out that the Internet-based data transmission has security holes, a complete protection against access by third parties is thus impossible. When communicating by e-mail, the complete data security of me also can not be guaranteed, so I recommend you for confidential information by mail.
